Eleven individuals, among them 8 IDF soldiers and three civilians, were injured when terrorists in Lebanon fired an anti-tank missile at Moshav Beit Hillel in the Galilee this afternoon (Sunday).
According to reports from the scene, the missile struck a truck, causing the vehicle to become engulfed in flames. Roads in the area have been blocked to vehicular traffic.
The IDF stated: "Following the reports regarding sirens that sounded in northern Israel, a launch of an anti-tank missile toward an IDF vehicle in the area of Beit Hillel was identified. Several IDF soldiers were lightly injured as a result of the fragments, and the vehicle was damaged."
In addition, several launches in the area of Mount Dov were identified, some of which fell inside Lebanese territory.
IDF artillery is striking the sources of the fire.
In addition, three rockets struck the city of Sderot this afternoon. One rocket caused heavy damage to a synagogue.
Eight rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system during the barrage on Sderot.
