Emily Hand, released this week from Hamas captivity, appeared on the front page of The Sun newspaper in Great Britain, under the title: "They stole her voice."
Hand, 9 years old, was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists during the murderous attack on communities in southern Israel.
At first sources speculated that she had been murdered in the attack and notified her father of her death. It was later discovered that she had, in fact, been kidnapped to Gaza, where she spent over 50 days in captivity, before being released this week.
In an excerpt from an interview given by father Tom, he said that "she was a happy, noisy kid & now she whispers, because she’s terrified," adding that she was terrorized by the terrorists while in captivity.
