Thousands of Chabad "Shluchim" (emissaries) participated today (Sunday) in the traditional group photo in front of the world Hasidic 770 synagogue in Brooklyn, New York.

Over the years, the photograph has become a special occasion in itself, where the Shluchim from all over the world burst into song, expressing their joy at the gathering.

The convention this year emphasized global awakening in the Jewish communities following the October 7th massacre in Israel. Organizers of the convention reveal the latest figure of the "army of Shluchim": 6,500 families working all over the world. 1,400 of them remained in Israel this time.

In order to strengthen the members of their communities, who need them at this difficult time, the Shluchim in Israel will join their brothers in the great honorary event that will be held tonight - a special gathering at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem, run by Chabad youth and the Center for Educational Affairs.
