Customers of the Shufersal Deal supermarket in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem recorded that orders arrived with pictures of swastikas and a hand making a disparaging gesture towards the Israeli flag in the delivery box.
Shufersal condemned the act in its entirety, and took steps against the employees suspected of the act. "Shufersal views the incident very seriously and will show zero patience towards events of this type," the chain said.
"The employee involved was located, immediately summoned to a hearing before dismissal and a complaint will be filed against him with the Israel Police. We apologize from the bottom of our hearts for the unusual incident and condemn such behavior."
