Chris Wray, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the US, has reported a rise in threats since Hamas brutally attacked Israeli civilians last Saturday, sparking a war with Israel, Reuters reported, quoting a New York Times reporter.

Speaking at a gathering of police chiefs in San Diego, Wray "urged locals to be vigilant and share intel to stop 'lone actors' inspired by Palestinian militant group Hamas and others," the reporters wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has reported a sharp rise in antisemitic incidents in the days following Hamas’s atrocities across Israel, Hamas supporters and other antisemitic activists have threatened and targeted Jewish and Israeli individuals and institutions worldwide.

Earlier this week, it was announced that two Jewish elementary schools in north London will be closing their doors until next week due to a rise of antisemitism amid the war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization.

The Community Security Trust, a charity that protects British Jews from antisemitism, said it had seen a 324% increase in reports of antisemitism as a result over the last four days. This included six assaults, 14 direct threats, three instances of vandalism, and 66 cases of abusive behavior, according to CST.
