A CNN investigation has analyzed almost two years of training and propaganda video released by Hamas.
The investigation reveals the months of preparations that went into last week’s attack.
According to the report, the terrorists trained for the onslaught in at least six sites across Gaza. None of the sites were targeted in previous operations against Hamas.
A report in the New York Times claims that after cross-referencing multiple Iranian sources, it appears that a select cadre of Iranian, Hezbollah, and Hamas officials planned the invasion for more than a year. The officials had exact intelligence on the Israeli defenses and constructed multiple specific training exercises for breaching them.
Channel 13 News Middle East commentator Zvi Yehezkeli commented to Arutz Sheva - Israel National News: ""They broke through all the walls, the fences, the cameras, the underground projects, the biggest security project in Israel, in an hour. We didn't think they could get through all that in less than an hour. I can show you films where they say they're going to do it -'We're going to invade your villages, your lands, we're going to slaughter your kids'. We thought they were like us and would love us if we gave them money and work. The first rule of Hamas is Jihad, and they practice it in many ways."
