Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman took to the stage at the Israel Heritage Foundation Gala, where he was joined by former US President Donald Trump. The event, aimed at supporting the Israeli Heritage Fund, was attended by a number of notable figures and supporters.
Blakeman began his address by highlighting the political shift in Nassau County, stating, "Nassau County is the reddest County along with Suffolk County in the United States that's not in Florida." He attributed this shift from blue to red to the public's dissatisfaction with high crime rates, high taxes, and perceived disrespect for parents and religion.
The County Executive expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their support of the Israeli Heritage Fund, praising the organization for the work it does. He also thanked them for their presence to hear former President Trump, whom he described as having "the energy, the fire, and the track record."
