Likud MK Danny Danon commented on President Herzog's visit to the United States of America and said that there was still something missing for Israel: a meeting between US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"We are happy to see the President in Washington, but we think it's time that Prime Minister Netanyahu comes to Washington to meet with the President," Danon told Fox News.

"We have so much to talk about - the threat of Iran, global issues, fighting evil in the region, so I think it is about time to do that."

"Maybe the President is not happy with the coalition in Israel, but I am sure that he should respect our democracy. The bond between the USA and Israel is built on the core values of democracy, and I think we expect our allies to respect the outcome of the election in Israel," he continued.

"President Biden and Prime Minister Netanyahu have known each other for many years, and the President knows this is a responsible government, but there are radical elements that are trying to push the government in certain directions."

"Look what happened when Representative Jayapal called us a racist and apartheid state. These are absurd accusations, but in fact, we should thank her - because of her, we saw Congress, Democrats and Republicans alike, pass a resolution supporting Israel."
