In a recent speech at the Israel Heritage Foundation Gala with Former President Trump, Sam Nahmias, Executive Chairman of the Israel Heritage Foundation and Commissioner of the Nassau County Bridge Authority, praised the accomplishments of the Trump administration and urged attendees to support the former president in future elections.
Nahmias began his speech by highlighting the economic successes of the Trump era.
"While Trump was President, seven million jobs were created, we had an unemployment rate of 3.5 percent, the bottom 50 percent of households saw their net worth grow by 40 percent," he said. Nahmias emphasized that these economic strides were made under the Trump administration, countering what he called "misconceptions" about the current state of the economy.
The Executive Chairman also lauded Trump's foreign policy achievements, particularly in relation to Israel. "Recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, moving the embassy, normalizing relations - these are all incredible accomplishments," Nahmias stated. He credited these achievements to Trump, asserting that neither the Obama nor Clinton administrations, nor the current Biden administration, would have taken these steps.
Nahmias also praised Trump's nomination of Amy Barrett to the Supreme Court, citing her role in protecting religious freedoms. "During every step of the administration, he did only good for the country," Nahmias asserted.
In his closing remarks, Nahmias urged attendees to support Trump in the upcoming elections. "This coming election, we all must come out and vote. We have to nominate and elect President Trump. There is no question about it," he said.
Nahmias warned against the prospect of more years under the Biden administration, stating, "Can you imagine another six years, or four years, but another one year with Biden and then having five more years with him? It would be ridiculous."
Nahmias concluded his speech with a call to unity and patriotism. "Ladies and gentlemen, it's great to be here today. God bless you all, God bless the United States of America, and God bless the state of Israel," he said.
