Former US President Donald Trump attended the Israel Heritage Foundation (IHF) gala, which was held at the Trumps Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Before speaking, Trump was introduced by IHF Executive Vice President Dr. Joseph Frager and IHF Executive Director Rabbi David Katz.
Prior to his speech, Trump asked Rabbi Katz to say words of prayer.
"Are you going to say a little prayer or something? Would you like to?" he asked and added: "Who's better than the rabbi?"
Rabbi Katz returned to the stage and blessed the former president. Trump thanked him, saying, "I'm glad I told him to do that."
Trump then spoke to the participants of the event and received the Keter Yerushalyim (Crown of Jerusalem) award in recognition for his work for the benefit of Israel and the relations between Israel and the US.
