An Israeli citizen was abducted during a trip to Ethiopia a few days ago, Kan News reported.
The Foreign Ministry stated that they are aware of the incident and working on it.
"A report was received about an Israeli citizen who was kidnapped during his visit to Ethiopia in the Gondar region," the ministry said.
According to the report, the missing man's family received a voicemail from him in which he said: "Help me. I'm in the middle of the jungle. It's raining hard. Help me. I'll probably stay here. Help me, help my kids. I wouldn't wish this on my enemies. Help me."
