The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) published a statement Tuesday criticizing Israel over its counter-terrorism operation in Jenin - without mentioning the terrorist ramming attack that occurred in Tel Aviv earlier this afternoon.
The statement says that the ICRC is "extremely concerned by the alarming intensification of armed violence in Jenin over the last two days. Each passing minute of this ongoing violence poses a danger to lives, homes, essential services, and infrastructure."
"Civilian lives and property must be respected and protected. Israeli Security Forces (ISF) must ensure the population in Jenin have unimpeded access to health services, shelter, food, and water. Ambulances and first responders must have unhindered access to wounded people and be able to provide emergency care without putting their own lives at risk," the statement added.
The statement was published soon after an Arab terrorist injured eight civilians, some seriously, in a ramming and stabbing attack in Tel Aviv. The terrorist was in Israel on a medical permit due to a terminal condition he has.
The Red Cross statement also did not mention the stabbing attack committed by a teenage terrorist in Bnei Brak yesterday.
