A Tuesday morning collision on Route 443 between Jerusalem and Modi'in left six people injured, Kikar Hashabbat reported.

Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedic Yishai Rauchberger said, "When we arrived at the scene we saw a very serious traffic accident involving a bus and two private vehicles. Two men of about 30 were lying near the vehicles, one of them partially conscious and the other conscious, both suffering multisystem injuries. We provided them with initial medical treatment at the scene and evacuated them to the hospital in serious condition."

"A man of about 35 was sitting in a vehicle fully conscious and suffering a head injury. We removed him from the vehicle and set his injury and evacuated him to the hospital in moderate and stable condition. Three others were lightly injured and evacuated in an MDA ambulance for continued tests at the hospital."

Israel Police said: "The police hotline received a report of a collision between two vehicles on Route 443 near Beit Horon, on the road from Jerusalem to Modi'in. A number of victims were evacuated from the scene with varying levels of injury."

"Due to the traffic accident, there is heavy traffic," the police added. "Police forces at the scene are directing traffic. Investigators have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the collision. The public is asked to follow the instructions of police officers."
