Representatives of the Israel Heritage Foundation (IHF) spoke on the sidelines of the Arutz Sheva Yom Yerushalayim celebration dinner in Manhattan.
"It is an honor and a privilege to host Israeli ministers as well as UN ambassador Gilad Erdan and give them the respect they deserve. They're doing a fantastic job," said Dr. Joseph Frager, Executive Vice President of the IHF.
On the topic of left-wing protests disrupting the Arutz Sheva conference in NYC and accosting members of the Israeli delegation, Frager said they were "hanging up their dirty laundry out to dry."
"They're not portraying Israel the way the world needs to see Israel," he argued. "You don't protest in America. That's so below the belt," he pointed out.
"We're here to be aboveboard and show the world that Israel's ministers are very special, very dignified people who deserve the utmost respect," concluded Frager.
"We had the most amazing event possible," said Rabbi David Katz, Executive Director of the Israel Heritage Foundation. "Minister of Public Diplomacy Galit Distel Atbaryan had some amazing things to say," he noted. How right she is that the prayers and acts of kindness being done in Israel are what keeps us alive."
