Ahead of the Shavuot holiday, a group of American yeshiva students studying in Israel visited senior haredi leader Rabbi Gershon Edelstein in his home to receive words of support.
During the visit, Rabbi Edelstein asked the boys if they were enjoying their studies, to which the students answered affirmatively. When the rabbi pressed to understand the source of their enjoyment, the boys answered, "The Torah is sweet."
Rabbi Edelstein expounded before the students on the "sweetness of the Torah."
