I remember a TV show dubbed 'Qui dit vrai?' (Who is telling the truth?) The game consisted in discovering who of three guests was the real individual. The show started with each guest standing up in turn and stating, as an example, 'Hi! My name is Henry Dodree and I am a doctor.' The host would then cross-examine them and the audience had to guess, by their reactions to questions and the quality of their answers, who the real Dr. Henry Dodree was.
Likewise today, we have two communities claiming to be the true native people of the same Land: Jewish Israelis and Arab 'Palestinians'. One of them is telling the truth. Which one?
On one hand, countless archaeological digs bear witness of the pre-eminence of Israel's rights to her Land. Not surprising that the 'Palestinian' Authority grinds its teeth every time Israel undertakes such digs since these provide irrefutable evidence confirming the authenticity of Israel's territorial claims and the legitimacy of her cause.
On the other hand, those I dub Hamans - that is Israel's enemies - vandalized the Holy Temple Mount of Jerusalem where God put his Name among men (1 Kings 9.3) and threw away 9,000 TONS of wreckage abounding with priceless archeological artefacts - some dating back to Bronze Age, Iron Age as well as the First and Second Temple periods… now irreversibly damaged. (So much for respect.)
Who is telling the truth?
It is obvious that Hamans "love, respect and cherish" this Land that they claim as theirs. Yea right!! (So much so, that they also burn down its forests at every opportunity.)
So since Hamans don't care about archaeological evidences, historical facts and witnesses' testimony, let's turn to God to find out what his opinion about who the real indigenous people of this sacred Land is:
Jacob set out from BEERSHEBA. They also took their livestock and their goods, which they had gained in the LAND OF CANAAN, and came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him. All the persons of the house of Jacob who came into Egypt were seventy." (Genesis 46.5,6,27 - truncated passages.)
Thus Israel's family nucleus was already present in Canaan 470 years before they returned from Egypt. So there is no other ethnic group that exists today - other than Jews - that lived in the area at the time.
DNA studies show that all major diaspora Jewish communities, with the exception of Ethiopian and Yemenite Jews, derive the majority of their ancestry from ancient Israelites. (Wikipedia: List of indigenous peoples)
That's over 3,500 years back from now. Can anybody beat that? Without lying? And PROVE IT… with something other than empty words, fits and fake indignation?
Nope!
- Initiating an intifada does not prove anything.
- calling for a boycott of Israeli products does not prove anything.
- neither does blowing up a passenger bus,
- nor burning alive tens of thousands of chickens,
- nor shooting point blank at Jews eating in a restaurant,
- nor firing hundreds of missiles at Israelis every now and then,
- nor erasing Israel from maps,
- nor burning entire fields of crops,
- nor staging bogus injustices with fake blood and false victims in order to stir up the international community's indignation against Israel. (Youtube: Pallywood)
- nor denying the Holocaust,
- nor digging terror tunnels,
- nor handing out 150 million dollars each year to murderers as a reward for having killed Jews,
- nor screaming at the top of your lungs such lies as ' Ethnic cleansing! Racism! Apartheid! Genocide! War crimes!'… while it is the Arab 'Palestinian' leadership that is guilty of such atrocities.
Aren't all these reprehensible deeds the sick expression of a sore loser?
Such a display of wickedness brings to mind Isaiah the Prophet: "Your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity. Your lips have spoken lies. Your tongue mutters wickedness. Their works are works of iniquity, and deeds of violence are in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they are swift to shed innocent blood. Desolation and destruction are in their highways. The way of peace they do not know." (Isaiah 5 - selected passages)
OK, where was I? Ah, yes, we were sounding out God to know who the true indigenous people of this coveted Land are: "The Land is mine… I am the Lord your God, who brought you [Israelites] out of the land of Egypt to give you [back] the land of Canaan." (Leviticus 25.23,38) Jews had left Canaan 470 years earlier because of a famine, remember?
"You shall have one law… for him who is NATIVE AMONG THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL and for the stranger who sojourns among them." (Numbers 15.29) The term 'Native' is used a dozen times by God while taking about the Children of Israel. Although for anti-Israel Hamans, even if the Almighty repeated it one thousand times, it would be of no avail.
Sorry to burst your bubble, dear barbaric assassins disguised as roaring righters-of-wrongs, but God is not with you when you wage war against Israel. You are moved by a collective rebellious spirit like the fallen angels. And if you do not repent, you'll end up just like them.
