A female IDF soldier was seriously injured by shrapnel during an exchange of fire with terrorists in the Arab city of Tubas Tuesday night. The firefight occurred during an operation to arrest wanted terrorists.

The soldier was taken to a hospital for treatment. Her family has been notified of the incident.

19 wanted terrorists were arrested by security forces during counter-terror operations in Judea and Samaria last night. In one operation in Qabitiya, terrorists opened fire at IDF forces from a vehicle. The soldiers responded with live fire toward the two assailants and killed them. Explosives were also thrown at the soldiers.
