
Foreign Minister Eli Cohen spoke on Monday evening with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, with an emphasis on the latest regional developments.
Cohen updated the Secretary of State on recent Israeli activity aimed at promoting regional stability and the two discussed further normalization moves, within the framework of expanding and deepening the Abraham Accords and the convening of the Negev Forum.
The Foreign Minister's office stated that "the two expressed their commitment to further strengthening the relationship between Israel and the US and the importance of the strategic alliance between the countries."
Earlier on Monday evening, Foreign Minister Eli Cohen met in Jerusalem with White House envoy Amos Hochstein and discussed with him the promotion of diplomatic moves in the region.
