The female driver who was arrested Friday on suspicion of killing Ma’ayan David Domnovitch in a collision on Israel's Independence Day has a history of drunk driving, Channel 13 News reported.
According to the report, the woman has been caught driving under the influence of alcohol in the past, and following that her license was suspended.
The driver, who is suspected of reckless homicide and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, will be brought Saturday night for an extension of her arrest.
She denies the charges against her.
According to the Friday report, "A blood test taken from the driver immediately after the accident found an amount of alcohol three times the legal limit, as well as a marijuana-type drug."
