Thousands gathered Tuesday morning at the annual Yom Hazikaron (Memorial Day) ceremony in memory of IDF soldiers and terror victims, at the Gush Etzion/Efrat cemetery in Kfar Etzion.

Among those gathered were IDF soldiers, bereaved families, local residents, and Israelis from many different parts of the country.

Gush Etzion Regional Council head and Yesha Council Chairman Shlomo Ne'eman was in attendance, along with Yaakov Hagoel, Chairman of the World Zionist Organization, and many other dignitaries and high ranking IDF officials.

Efrat resident Rabbi Leo Dee, whose wife Lucy, 48, and daughters Maia, 20, and Rina, 15, were murdered in an April 7 terror attack in the Jordan Valley, recited the Kaddish prayer, along with his surviving children.
