The ministers from the Otzma Yehudit Party, Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister for the Development of the Periphery, the Negev and the Galilee Yitzhak Wasserlauf and Minister of Heritage Amichai Eliyahu, arrived on Thursday, together with the head of the Jordan Valley Regional Council David Elhayani at the site of the terrorist attack in the Jordan Valley in which sisters Rina and Maia Dee and their mother Lucy were murdered.

Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said that "the time has come to stop talking about the concepts of containing and understanding, terrorism needs to be subdued and defeated, there is still a lot to fix. Our message here today to the residents of the Jordan Valley, keep going and take action, we are here to have your back."

Minister Amichai Eliyahu added, "I responded to the call of my party members to work for the development of the Jordan Valley and the strengthening of Jewish settlement there."

"The Ministry of Heritage will finance the development of several projects in the area, including the establishment of two visitor centers in the Jordan Valley along with preserving the site of the Sartaba (an ancient hilltop fortress constructed by the Hasmoneans -ed). They are trying to cut lives, but we will work to add lives, the nation of Israel lives, and it will win. We say from this place to our enemies, you have no chance, you will not succeed."

Elhayani said, "Now is our time to raise our heads. Because those who want to harm us, want to scare us, but we are not afraid. We will continue to travel on the roads, we will continue to take in new families and develop the Valley, because this is our imperative."
