Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was spotted at the Western Wall in Jerusalem on Thursday as he participated in the bar mitzvah celebration for the son of businessman and philanthropist Simon Falic.

The Falic family owns over 200 duty-free shops around the world as well as several Israeli businesses, including the Psagot winery.

Falic is a close friend of Netanyahu and has contributed significantly to his campaigns in the past. He is also a supporter of several right-wing Israeli organizations; in the United States, he contributes to the Republican party.

In May, the Falic family was presented with the Jerusalem Award for the Development of Judea and Samaria.
