The Israel Heritage Foundation (IHF) held a special meeting Wednesday night. The meeting focused on the international Jewish Community discussing a range of topics including increasing antisemitism globally, assimilation, and aliyah.

The meeting was attended by Ari Brown, Assemblyman & Deputy Mayor of Cedarhurst, New York; Sam Nahmias, Commissioner Nassau County Bridge Authority; Rabbi Richard Altabe, Principal of the Halb Elementary School, Cederhurst New York; Dr. Joseph Frager, IHF Executive Vice President; and Rabbi Duvid Katz, IHF Executive Director.

"The Meeting produced tangible ways of combating our challenges," Frager said. "It will help us all broaden our efforts."

"I was very impressed seeing people who are truly out there for the sake of the public," Rabbi Katz added. "We see their influence in Far Rockaway [Queens] and the Five Towns [of western Long Island] in a very modest way, as they don't seek any public attention or respect."
