On Wednesday night, the IDF, Israel Security Agency (Shabak), and Israel Border Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the towns of Huwara, Salim, Birzeit, Al-Yamun and Einabus.
Israel Border Police and IDF forces apprehended three terror suspects in the city of Jenin. During the activity, rocks and Molotov cocktails were hurled at the forces, endangering their lives. Shots were also heard in the area. The Israel Border Police forces responded with live fire.
IDF soldiers apprehended three terror suspects in the city of Ramallah. During the activity, rocks and Molotov cocktails were hurled at the forces, endangering their lives. The security forces found and confiscated illegal weapons during counterterrorism activity in the town of al-Mughayyir. Two suspects that attacked the security forces were also apprehended.
In addition, during counterterrorism activity in the town of Deir Abu Masha'al, two terror suspects were apprehended and illegal weapons were found and confiscated. IDF soldiers also confiscated a vehicle used for terrorist activities.
In total, 12 individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities were apprehended overnight. No IDF injuries were reported. The suspects were transferred to the security forces for further processing.
