Former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (Yamina) criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, saying that Netanyahu created President Trump's peace plan.

In an interview with Israel Hayom journalist Yehuda Shlezinger, Shaked said, "We were left out [of the coalition] because Netanyahu made a strategic decision to dismantle the right-wing bloc, which led him to where he is now, and go with the left."

She continued, "This bloc has protected him and prevented the establishment of a different government. But now, as far as Netanyahu is concerned, the bloc has done its thing - and the bloc can go. I think it's a serious political and strategic mistake. If he wanted us in the government, he would have negotiated intensely with us. He had one conversation with us and even that was through Zoom. That says everything."

"This bloc is the best thing for the right, the Likud's partnership with religious Zionism and the haredim is the right partnership. The problem is that once he has a new bride, he kicks out the old bride."

Shaked added that "Netanyahu likes us to be small and weak. He prefers weak politicians next to him. We are not weak. He prefers a weak religious Zionism.”

Asked about the issue of applying sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, Shaked said, "The Trump plan was put together by Netanyahu. We should be calling it the Netanyahu plan. For many years now, since the Bar Ilan speech, Netanyahu has been talking about establishing a demilitarized Palestinian state, more limited than the one Olmert and Livni talked about, but still a Palestinian state. We must not accept a plan that recognizes a Palestinian state.”
