A Jewish man was lightly injured on Thursday evening from a firebomb thrown by an Arab in the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Kfar Shiloah.

He was treated by Magen David Adom paramedics and evacuated to a hospital.

Border Police officers are searching the area in an attempt to find the Arab who threw the firebomb.

Meanwhile on Thursday evening, Arabs threw an explosive device at an Israeli vehicle at the Karmei Tzur junction in Gush Zion. There were no injuries but the vehicle was damaged.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Arabs who threw the explosives were sitting in a car with an Israeli flag on its window, and after throwing the explosives, the vehicle fled towards the Arab village of Halhul. Security forces are searching the area.
