The Trump Administration has ordered that seven words be banned from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) documents on its 2019 budget, the Washington Post reported.

The words which are to be banned include "transgender," “entitlement,” "diversity," "science-based," "evidence-based," “vulnerable,” and "fetus."

The instruction not to use words was given in a 90-minute session during which the CDC policy analysts were briefed last Thursday.

The CDC was instructed to use the phrase: “CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes" instead of the banned references to science and evidence.

Department of Health and Human Services Matt Lloyd told CNN that the Post report was a “mischaracterization of discussions regarding the budget formulation process.”

The CDC has an annual budget of approximately $7 billion.
