A 45-year-old working in a government office and a 48-year-old ground steward were arrested at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport on suspicion of helping Georgian citizens infiltrate Israel.
According to the report, the two men instructed the Georgians to arrive in clothes resembling those of border supervisors. Upon arrival, the workers - who were allowed to move freely throughout the airport - would allow the Georgians to skip the border inspections and enter Israel.
It is suspected that each infiltrator paid the workers thousands of dollars.
The 45-year-old is suspected of taking bribes, fraud, and breach of trust, as well as immigration crimes. The 48-year-old is suspected of bribery and immigration crimes.
Both men will be brought on Friday morning to Rishon Lezion's Magistrates Court, where their arrest will be extended.
