An IDF soldier on Sunday night was lightly injured by Arab rock-throwers during a military operation in Aqabat Jaber, southwest of Jericho.

The soldier was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment. When he is recovered, he will be released back to his battalion.

At the same time, IDF forces from the Judea Brigade and Border Police officers operating in the Hevron-area Arab town of Yatta confiscated homemade Carl Gustav rifles and a magazine from a local illegal weapons dealer.

In addition, IDF forces from the Gush Etzion Brigade and Israel Police forces searching the Arab town of Beit Sahour near Beit Lehem (Bethlehem) found and confiscated additional weapons.

All told, 12 wanted Arabs were arrested throughout Judea and Samaria during the night. All of these Arabs are known for involvement in "lone-wolf" terror, rioting, and violence. They will be interrogated by security forces.

Two weeks ago, IDF forces arrested seven wanted terrorists and confiscated 8000 shekels intended for use in terror attacks and incitement.
