A number of young men from the so-called 'hilltop youth' in Judea and Samaria received today (Tuesday) administrative orders imposing various prohibitions on them, including the prohibition of contacting other right-wing activists and the obligation to report to the police once within specified periods of time.
Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, who represents the youths, said that "the Shin Bet [creates] an atmosphere of incitement and causes frustration and anger, which may lead to the price tag phenomenon."
"The Shin Bet is pushing the hilltop youth into a corner. If there is evidence to indict them, then administrative orders [issued] without a trial and without proof or evidence only cause unnecessary provocations.
Yesterday morning, the police arrested a 20-year-old Jewish resident of Yitzhar, after he failed to appear in court. Dozens of policemen and detectives came to Yitzhar from across Judea and Samaria to arrest the young man.
