Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan reacted to the news of the recent terror attack near the Jewish community of Beit El.

“I heard that the terrorist who perpetrated the attack was from Palestinian security forces. For me, that’s no surprise. I’ve already been saying for a long time that the Palestinian Authority is not a solution - it is the problem,” he told Arutz Sheva.

“The Palestinian Authority has been inciting murder for 23 years, in education and in the press. Murdering Jews is a goal for them - therefore, the State of Israel has no choice but to cut ties with the Palestinian Authority,” he concluded.

A growing chorus of people would like to see the Palestinian Authority dismantled. It is headed by a chairman whose term expired over five years ago and who refuses to hold elections, fearing the results, it engages in terror, refuses to enter peace negotiations or recognize Israel as a Jewish homeland, and has failed to use the billions given it by the world to better the lives of its people.
