A plane of the Israeli airline "Israir," carrying 118 passengers, that had departed from Sochi, Russia, successfully staged an emergency landing this morning (Tuesday) in Ben Gurion Airport, after a problem with the plane was reported.
At about 2:00 this morning, a problem was reported, apparently relating to one of the engines.
Ben Gurion Airport was on high alert pending the landing, with medics and firefighters rushed to the scene as part of the protocol for such situations.
The plane landed safely, no passengers were injured, and staff was let off work.
