Firefighters are battling a massive blaze which has engulfed a 15-story residential building in the central Israeli city of Ramat Gan.
The fire broke out early Monday afternoon along Bialik Street, and quickly spread throughout the building, engulfing the top 10 floors.
Police and paramedic also responded to the incident, though it is not known at this stage if there are any casualties.
Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedic Eylon Mualem was at the scene.
"When we received the call about the fire and there were fears of people trapped and in danger we arrived at the site with a very large contingent of ambulances," he recounted.
"In coordination with firefighters and the police we deployed around the building to receive any casualties," he added, noting that thankfully nobody required medical treatment. It is still however unclear if anyone else in trapped inside the building.
Nearby roads have been closed to traffic both ways as emergency forces battle the blaze, and motorists have been advised to avoid the area if possible.
