After a heat wave hit Israel during Chol HaMoed (the Intermediate Days of Passover), the weather is expected to cool down, especially for cities in the mountainous regions.

Tonight, as the holiday of the seventh day of Passover commences, temperatures are expected to reach 11° C (51.8° F) in Tzfat (Safed), 17° C (62.6° F) in Haifa, 19° C (66.2° F) in Tel Aviv, 13° C (55.4° F) Jerusalem and 18° C (64.4° F) in Be'er Sheva.

During the holiday weekend, there will be a slight increase of temperature and by Saturday the weather will be pleasant and warmer than usual.

On Sunday, temperatures will continue to rise and another heat-wave is expected.
