A terrorist from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror group was arrested Monday in the Deheisheh "refugee neighborhood" south of Bethlehem.
The arrest was carried out in broad daylight by the Duvdevan elite unit and the Israel Security Agency (ISA).
The terrorist has been wanted for some time. He is a leader of violent riots that emanate from Deheisheh and head toward Rachel's Tomb.
Several improvised explosives were thrown at the Israeli forces in the course of the raid. None of the Israeli forces were hurt.
"The IDF will continue to operate against the terror centers with any means at its disposal, to safeguard the citizens of Israel," said a statement from the IDF and ISA.
