One Israeli has been murdered and another wounded in a stabbing attack at the Dor gas station along Route 443, just outside Beit Horon (northwest of Jerusalem) Monday afternoon.
The Palestinian Arab terrorist fatally wounded an 18 year-old man. Magen David Adom (MDA) medics attempted to treat the young man at the scene, who was suffering from severe stab wounds to his upper body, but he quickly succumbed to his wounds.
Another victim, a 22 year-old woman, is suffering from light injuries. She was transferred to Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.
Channel 2 reports that a third person, a bystander, was injured by a stray bullet - but this has yet to be confirmed.
IDF forces at the scene eliminated the terrorist.
Initial reports indicate that the terrorist walked to the gas station to perform the attack. He remained unnoticed, apparently, because Palestinian Arabs from nearby villages regularly frequent the site, either to buy from the gas station kiosk or to find rides.
This is the second terror incident in less than one hour. Minutes ago, a terrorist attempted to stab an Israeli at Hatmar junction in Samaria, near Elon Moreh; no one was hurt.
Updates to follow.
