Three people were injured Sunday, after a car exploded on Palmach St. in Givatayim (adjacent to Tel Aviv - ed.). One man was seriously injured and two others sustained minor injuries.
Magen David Adom (MDA) and United Hatzalah medics called to the scene gave first aid to the wounded and evacuated them to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
Na'ama Kramnian, an MDA first responder, described the scene to Arutz Sheva.
"When we got there, we saw a car parked on the roadside completely totaled," she said. "Outside the car were three men, about age 40, fully conscious; they were suffering shrapnel injuries. We gave them first aid and evacuated them quickly to hospital."
Police have estimated that the background for the attack is likely criminal, not terrorism. Walla! News confirmed Sunday afternoon that at least one of the victims is connected to a known mobster.
