
The IDF has released the names of three of the five soldiers killed Thursday night in Gaza. All of them served in the 188th Armored Brigade, or "Lightning Brigade."
The slain (hy"d) are:
Master Sergeant Daniel Marsh, 22, from Rishon LeTzion. Marsh's funeral will be held at 3:30 pm Friday at the military cemetery in Holon.
Captain Omri Tal, 22, from Yehud. Tal's funeral arrangements are still pending.
Sergeant First Class Shai Kushner, 20, from Kiryat Motzkin. Kushner's funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in Kiryat Ata.
Master-Sgt. Noam Rosenthal, 20, from Mitar will be laid to rest today (Friday) at 1:00 p.m. at the military section of the Mitar Cemetery.
Captain Liran Aderi (Adir), 31, from Azouz. Aderi's funeral arrangements are still pending.
The names of another IDF soldier who was killed has not yet been released.
All five soldiers were killed from rocket or mortar fire near the Gaza border, the IDF announced.
Sixty-one IDF soldiers have been killed since Operation Protective Edge began 25 days ago; 139 are wounded.
