Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu participated Tuesday night in the premier screening of an international tourism project that is expected to bring hundreds of thousands of tourists to Israel.

The screening took place at Hollywood's Paramount Studios, and was attended by some 500 people.

The program is a mammoth production by journalist-producer Peter Greenberg, who hosts international tourism shows on PBS. Filmed over the last two years, it features Netanyahu at tourist spots from Rosh Hanikra in the north, through Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, to Eilat at Israel's southern tip.

Greenberg has produced similar projects with the heads of state of Mexico, Jordan, Peru, New Zealand and others. Israel's Tourism Ministry estimates that after being seen by millions of viewers, the show will bring at least 200,000 people to Israel as touristys, generating revenues of hundreds of millions of shekels for the state.
