Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon is “worried” by the political agendas of those heading negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

“We are very worried, because we see who is making the negotiations. Martin Indyk from the American side, Saeb Erekat from the Palestinian side, and Tzipi Livni from our side, the Israeli side,” he told Arutz Sheva’s Yoni Kempinski.

“We are worried. We hear the voices coming out of the negotiations room,” he added.

Nevertheless, Danon expressed confidence that the Likud party has the power to prevent the ongoing talks from becoming a disaster for Israelis living in Judea and Samaria (Shomron).

PA leaders say they will force hundreds of thousands of Israelis from their homes if they are given Judea and Samaria for the creation of a PA Arab state. That will not happen, Danon declared.

Danon also spoke to Arutz Sheva about the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the west over Iran’s nuclear program, and warned of concerning parallels between today’s situation and the negotiations with North Korea years earlier.
