A fire broke out near the communities of Ora and Aminadav not far from Jerusalem Sunday. Nine fire fighting teams from Jerusalem and four from Bet Shemesh brought the fire under control within a short time and prevented it from spreading toward homes.
"We are investigating the fire," said Officer Nidam Salomon, "And also looking into reports by residents that the fire was the result of arson."
A fire also broke out in an apartment on Herzl street in Akko Sunday. Firefighters extricated three residents who were lightly injured. The apartment was badly damaged.
