A group of young leftist University of New Mexico students crashed a talk by pro-Israel Nonie Darwish on their campus Thursday night, but were surprised when older audience members got up out of their seats and pushed them out posthaste.

"Nonie Darwish speaks for Israeli apartheid! And genocide at the hands of the IDF," the leftists yelled. However, older audience members with a no-nonsense approach walked up to the students and began pushing them out. The leftist disturbance had barely lasted a minute by the time the rioters had all been pushed out the door.
The title of the talk was "Why the Arab Spring Is Failing." Nonie Darwish is an Egyptian Arab who holds pro-Israel views. Darwish did not seem very disturbed by the event. She waited for two minutes until all noise from the corridor where the leftists had retreated to died down and explained that perhaps the leftists rioted because her words had "made them think."
Leftist (Un)Occupy Albuquerque released this statement: "A group of people, who were acting in solidarity with the Palestinian people, questioned Darwish's fear-mongering and her unqualified support for Israel. They were shouted down by pro-Israel members in the audience, who assaulted a woman, pulled her hair, and forcibly pushed another person over a row of seats. A third person was punched in the face. Pro-Israel members also destroyed a phone that was used to record the assault."
These are additional videos of the scuffle.
