Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan addressed on Tuesday, via live video conference, the attendees of the 12th Annual Herzliya Conference.

In his remarks, the Prince called for more regional cooperation in the Middle East.

“We need to develop a concept of our shared future,” he said. “It is time to engage with the Arab awakening and its winter offshoots and indeed to engage with the ongoing discussion in all our countries.”

Prince El Hassan bin Talal is brother to Jordan's late King Hussein, who signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1994. He is uncle to the present King Abdullah II of Jordan.
