In some areas, like in the U.S. South, christians pick jewish names out of telephone books, and in other ways. They pass names and tel. nrs around on scraps of paper, etc. How do I know this? After those experiences, I am a down to earth logical and rational person, I was determined to *get to the bottom of it*. I found out a lot, and, indeed human action was part of it. A larger part of it could never be traced and is still unexplained. I believe that Hashem guides what happens to us. Certainly, it was not my doing, and the outcome for me was not the christians\' intent. Prayer must accompany action. Prayer must also precede action. Guidance comes from Hashem, and if it does, is very palpable and real.I am not at all into mysticism. It just happens to me, but incidentally. Here are a few thoughts. There is a wealth of videos. There are quite a few on ww.road90.com, a.o. Netanyahu\'s remarks before the UN. Also videos of Gaza activity, one I remember by a non-jew visiting Sderot and filming an attack there, with his comment. We need to make collages of these reels, and post them, put them in commentlines on blogs, etc. If our prayer works there will be things happening, which appear totally normal and matter of fact, at first, but later become more meaningful, or, there are questions and things do not add up, other than that you were taught something, were guided into a course of action. Keep the eyes and ears open. With all that never lose your sense of analysis and your rationality. One time I visited a synagogue to pick up a specific seder plate in the gift shop. My car was not available so I went by bus, an uncommon experience for me. I stood on the bus stop to go back. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an older woman comes running up to me and says, you are on the wrong busstop; you must take that one. It was across the street on the other side. She asked:  \"shall I take you? \". I agreed. We had a pleasant conversation and, then, as suddenly as she had appeared, she had disappeared! Only a few days later I asked myself the obvious question:  \"how did she know where I was going? \" I was standing on a perfectly normal and legitimate busstop! I am not making any statements on what this was, could mean, nor am I counting out that I have an *issue*. However, I have been tested, more than once, and each time the outcome is that I am rational, down to earth, and have nothing that indicates dreamstates or other states.");
