It would be easier to thread the eye of a needle with a bulldozer , than for Islam to accept the Jews on thier Holy site! I was compelled to research the subject. It seems when the second Temple was destroyed and buried under the ground , and sprinkled with salt by the Romans;years later a group of Jews attempted to rebuild the Temple , but were stopped. In the year 638; Abd el-Malik , an Islamic ruler from Damascus, built the Dome of the rock. At that time the Umayyad group was headquartered in Damascus, and the Abbasids were headquartered in Iraq, and Arabia, and were in conflict with each other. According to Ofir; Malik was actually a follower of the Jewish Faith. Maliks followers were told to pray facing Jerusalem instead of Mecca, a Jewish custom established by Solomon, instead of Mecca, where the Black kaba stone remains that Islam claims Avraham sacrificed Ishmael to G-d, and claims that Judaism has twisted the scriptures to meet thier needs. Maliks followers made pilgrimages to Jerusalem instead of Mecca as well. The Dome is of Byzantine Architecture and has eight sides, which is diverse from all other Mosques, and a Michrab was not placed in the usual  direction of Mecca, until the entrrance was altered in 1947; a year before Israel became a Nation. Malik was called an infidel, and erased from Muslim history! Many have suggested that the Dome was originally a Jewish Temple, as Rabbi Avraham bar Chia Hanassi said; The Ishmalite kings had the good habit of allowing Israel to come to the Temple Mount. Is this the scenario[ Abomination of Desolation] we see forming from Daniel, and the peace treaty allowing both Jews and Muslims[ A shared Temple to worship on Friday for Isalm, and Saturday for Judaism? it seems to correlate with the ten toes of Iron and clay in Daniel [ Democracy , and Islam], that make a very unstable foundation for peace! You might say it would be like lighting a fuse on a powder Keg! I know G-d\'s promise for Israel, and the new Temple of Ezekial ,and the names of the Twelve Tribes, and Twelve Gates , and then the Book of Ezekial ends, and the Book of Daniel ends, or should I say; Begins!Do you know the Name of the City?");
