AddReply(451431,"Iran: Tamar’s Political & Journalistic Courage","Thomas","Washington, DC","06/16/09","...\nTamar, thanks for your political & journalistic courage in interviewing Iran TV political commentator Saeed Behbahani (\"What Iranians Want\" at www.israelnationalnews.com/Radio/News.aspx/1068) re election rigging & renewed possibility of a new revolution & regime change in Iran (by & for the people of Iran).\n\nUnlike mainstream media, YOUR interview shows that the people of Iran & Israel may still be long-term friends & allies.\n\n75%  of Iranian people (Muslim & non-Muslim) want a new, independent, non-Islamic form of government -- with individual & provincial autonomies (i.e., true regime change). \n\nIf WE support Iranians in their self-determination endeavors (which are NOT anti-Israel), then the people of Iran, Israel & America may eliminate threats that a terror-supporting, nuke-capable Iran may pose to Israel, others & America -- and to Iran.\n\nThe people of Iran may be ready, willing & able to do a new revolution & regime change in Iran.  HOW do we support them?\n\n");

Where does your beloved Mr. O get off telling another supposedly sovereign country what to do and how and when to do it. He is no friend, Yvonne. Just as Joseph was hated for being Yaacov\'s favorite, so too is Israel hated for being Hashem\'s favorite.  But not to worry, it\'s all part of His plan, including the nukes and it will all work out in the end as He planned it.\nActually, I agree with you about respect. I read an interesting teaching about that  last week. Daniel was obedient and respectful to Achasveros [sp] and Joseph and Moshe were respectful to Pharoh.  They WAITED ON HASHEM. But those were their own leaders. Mr. Obama is not mine. I will grit my teeth and be respectful to Bibi but not to YOUR president. He is not my friend nor a friend to my people. \n\n");

Like African Americans in the U.S. we also have always been *the other*. Then, you might not consider it important what Mr. Obama, or Americans think of Israel, or, that the EU rejects the Israeli stance on Palestine and even Mr. Netanyahu\'s speech. But, dear girl, we live in a world with others, and to do so comfortably, within the family sphere, or outside of it, and especially in the larger world, that requires give and take. Queen Beatrix has not one thing to do with it, and The Netherlands does not either. Mr. Obama can take his hands off Israel, as many Americans now openly demand already. Approval of Israel has gone down since 2009 and especially since yesterday\'s speech. With all the nastyness on INN about Mr. Obama, so far, he has turned out to be a friend. As for The Netherlands, they are holding a Conference on how to keep nukes out of the hands of terrorists right now with a number of other nations. People are putting in their best efforts to help, and are getting snarls, racism, and inappropriate speech in return on this website. In fact, the language used on this website, as well as the accusations, are identical to the ones used by fringe groups in the U.S. Meira, you, and others in Israel, are welcome to put in your own efforts to solve the daily problems you have, and not only with the Palestinians. The borders of The Netherlands have been stable for hundreds of years, and the Dutch get along with people of all races and colors. To be able to trade and be prosperous, to have stability, one must get along, respect others, and especially know them and learn from them. To be able to make a sale you must know what the buyer needs and wants, or better yet, can not live without. Putting one over on another can only be done once, and then you are out of business. It never leads to repeat business.");

The White House approved of it as well. Mr. Netanyahu has set some conditions, and the liberal press is not happy with it. That is one thing. Another thing is that the PA never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity - remember Arafat and Camp David? The PA has declared that they are not speaking for 1000 years! Abbas has said even before the speech that he has to do nothing. I suppose he is asleep in his lazyboy recliner.Mr. Netanyahu looks very good. Offered economic peace and cooperation, acknowledgement of a Palestinians State. His offer has been rejected. One can not have negotiations if one party is not speaking, breaks any (previous) agreements, and will not act. Mr. Obama can point to Israel\'s cooperation as well as to Palestinian refusal to cooperated or tocease and desist agression.");
