And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father\'s nakedness, and he told his two brothers outside.\n23. And Shem and Japheth took the garment, and they placed [it] on both of their shoulders, and they walked backwards, and they covered their father\'s nakedness, and their faces were turned backwards, so that they did not see their father\'s nakedness.\n24. And Noah awoke from his wine, and he knew what his small son had done to him.\n25. And he said, \"Cursed be Canaan; he shall be a slave among slaves to his brethren.\"\n\nIt does not say, that slaves have to be mistreated, or looked down upon. This is what people can made and have made of it. Rather, it indicates that Cham (\'black\') was not capable of having leadership of the kind that he might think he could have. \n\nBefore the Flood, no one tood Noah serious, yet he kept building an Arc. It was a dove which brought back an olive-brance in order to show that the waters had subsided. \nArcheologists have said that the Sphynx in Egypt dates from before the Flood of Noah. One cannot know exactly when that was, since for HaShem one year is as a thousand years. But the Sphynx mus t be very old, then. \n\nIsn\'t Obama a descendant of a Muslim slave-trader who ended up in Africa? (his descendants \'married\' Africans. The latter is not to be taken litterally. One custum in Africa seems to be that if a woman becomes a widow, then she has to be \'cleansed\' by some sort of \'priest\' with whom she is is obliged to sleep. Poor women. I am not even speaking of the occult \'rituals\' which take place in Africa.  Do some of these date from \'pre-Flood times\'? \n\nThe \'Sfynxes\' in Egypt sit on the floor. The Pyramids point to the sky. \nThe head on the Sphynx was gone, after which is was replaced. Maybe Obama wants to return to the Sfynx on the Dollar-bill before paper-money is done away with alltogether, and \'electronic money\' is the only means of payment. The \'head\' could thus trace everyone and everything\n\nPoor housewives be they black, white yellow, orof whatever colour. \'Over and out\' says Captain Spock of Space-ship Enterprise\' (this is a joke, it\'s necessary for the balance)\n\nWhy did Moshe Rabbeynu say, \'Maintain Justice and Mercy\' (Emet ve Chesed) ?\nTo me it looks as if Am Yisrael is able to do so. \nMaintain can also mean increase and cherish; study in-depth the meaning of the balance between Justice and Mercy\n\nCan it be that Justice and Mercy were necessary Ingredients by which HaShem \'managed\' the Flood? \n\nAnd let\'s also get rid of some hypocrisy or the possibly another \'image\' thereof. Bush already has friends (invite to the family for the week-end, etc, is what I mean) from Saudi-Arabia. Meanwhile the \'military strategies\' of David HaMelech are still being studied by the American Government. But they can never come \'to the point\', since the \'military strategies\' have a spiritual background and root. To try to \'apply\' these can result in some \'succes\', yet there does not exist a \'duplication\'; a \'duplication\' will ultimately turn against the ones who try to \'duplicate\' that of which they think they have enough \'knowlege\'\n\nIt could be that Obama was trying to \'duplicate\' Moshiach Ben Yoyseph. I do not rule out that they studied \'Yoyseph\', in order to be able to \'resemble him\', \n\n\'Receptive, awaiting, Jews\', who know the Torah, will see the counterfeit. \'Oh well\' maybe there are other counterfeits \'in store\'? Someone who suddenly so strongly gives the impression that he is about to do someting (release the \'slaves\'; enable Am Yisrael to return, build the Beys Ha Mikdash, but the \'transaction\' just had not been made real and visilble, \'hang in there\')\n\nThe entries on the Blog already show to me that there is so much discernment and knowlege. Isn\'t that amazing! People are not that \'stupid\'; the knowlegde should not be centralized, after all, the roof of the Knesset is also flat.\n\nWhat is \'happening\' in addition reminds me of Ya\'acov who served Lavan for so many years, \'and look\'... his father in law Lavan changed the wages of Ya\'acov several times. First  it was Lavan himself who said that he did not want Ya\'acov to work for nothing. (\'You mean, for nothing? No, I would not take advantage of the fact that you are my son-in law\', is what Lavan might have said, to Ya\'acov, who had fled from his twin-brother Esav.   Lavan was also a little \'naive\'. Or rather, he played that role which must have confused and delayed  Ya\'acov.   Lavan, father of Rachel and Leah whom Ya\'acov married, including two \'slaves\' of Rachel and Leah, thus he had four wives to be preoccupied with and children, and hard labor,- (Lavan) only played the role of a busy father-in-law who was being naive. He could not deal with the responsability of the situation, he did not bless Ya\'acov in a clear way which Ya\'acov had deserved; he cheated on Ya\'acov, used him, to work for him. Ya\'acov complied for quite a while; maybe he had some \'guilt\' to pay, also had confused feelings of fale guilt  (\'cheating on Yitzchac, the father of Ya\'acov, also the father of  his twin-brother Esav, Ya\'acov deceived his father Yitzchac in order to receive the birthright and blessing, but on the other hand there were good reasons for \'this\'; Esav was not capable of responsability and leadership). \n\nI do see a connection with Cham the son of Noah who acted in an immoral way and Esav twin-brother of Ya\'acov along with Lavan (ps  it means, \'white\'), father-in law of Ya\'acov.  Then HaShem finally told Ya\'acov to leave.  Lavan find out that Ya\'acov had left, and he went after him, in order to kill Ya\'acov and his wives, Rachel and Leah, and not to forget, their slaves, Bilha and Zila, along with all the children of Ya\'acov. Then HaShem told lavan in a dream not to harm Ya\'acov.  I wonder how it was possible that Lavan listened.  Lavan had not made the right family connnections in a respectful way, but, he listened after he was warned in a dream. Maybe he did not realize, that it was the G-d of Ya\'acov, who sent the dream. That is possible. \'Thus\', HaShem Himself could have played a \'double-role\', only in a  Holy way.\nLavan acted as if he did not realize \'who\' was Ya\'acov, who had come to him, for shelter against Esav, but also, to be a blessing-the blessing, but Lavan knew that very well, all too well.  \'So\', is there anything \'new under the sun\'?\n\nDoes it appear as if I phantasize, please do be careful about thinking that. I already went through things for which others would have become \'crazy\' (isn\'t that the unconventional word?). And, I did not, Baruch HaShem\n\nI see the same potential when I read some of the entries on Weblogs as these. Don\'t put yourselves down, let knowledge increase, maintain Justice and Mercy\n\n\'slaves\'; they were best treated in Israel. I don\'t say, that there weren\'t people who could discriminate them in a personal way. Also, someone who had to pay a debt, could become a slave but only for a limited period of time, then he/she had to be released. Sometimes he/she did not even want that because of the bond which had grown between the slave and the master (no, not a wrong bond as a result of abusive situations). \n\n\'Over-and-out\', May HaShem create a Bond between Emet and Chesed\n\nNot impossible that Ya\'acov suddenly said, \'I will lift up my hands to Thy Name\', and then HaShem told him in a dream to leave ( no, HaShem did not say, \'you\'re dismissed\'; Ya´acov after all he had gone through could have gotten that message. HaShem did not make any \'value-statements\'; He told Ya\'acov to take action. Probaly at the right moment, for we as human beings do not know what could have happened otherwize). \n\nFootsteps in the sand can be washed away, but these patterns cannot be duplicated\n\nAnd they are for all the world to see and be able to identify with. \'Only\', the \'labourer\' (Ya\'cov, Yisrael) has his wage in full for the blessings which he represents and toiled for this being an example to the nations. Were do we see \'stories\' as these which can be read in the Tanach and with which everyone is able to identify on all different levels? You see, which only testifies to the Insight into Justice and Mercy of HaShem\n\n\n \n\n");

He is making trips to people who either are currently persecuting Jews, or have in the past. His trips to Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and other places like them are not by accident. American President may not be more intelligent than you are , but he may be a little \'smarter\' than you are at the moment. May you and so many others be the faster ones!  It seems to me that your goodwill which give s others the benefit of the doubt, and your will to carefully analyze everything, can be taken advantage of. \n\nSometimes I have had to learn ,In small ways, that things can be  a matter of \'time, a fast insight, resolve, and the right attitude\'.  Before the other person can take something which is yours\' (be it e.g. your time, emotional energy, inner dignity, or even possessions, let go something more valuable, your life), you must stop being too naive and polite, on time, and if that is not always easy, prayer in advance helps, in having discernment, being faster and more decisive.\n\nPlease consider waking up, it is part the Inheritance of Israel, may HaShem bless it manifold for His Name\'s Sake\n\nI read, What was Obama thinking?  He is not only thinking , but \'doing\', while Jews are the ones who keep analyzing \"right and wrong\" at length (which is praiseworthy. It is not the only \'role\' \'though\' which Jews \'have to be used to\')\n\nObama plays a role of being \'a little bit of evertything\'. This is most probably well thought of beforehand (by others besides by himself).  He is now \'on stage\' so to speak.\n\nIt is even possible that he believes in a clear cause which he himself may consider to be a \'worthy cause\', only \'it\' cannot be revealed to the public. Every \'dream\' starts in childhood, doesn\'t it? Isn\'t his book called after his father\' dream. I did not read it, but I know someone who gave this as a gift to her friend. \nFor some \'white\' people, it might be the so-called \'white guilt\' (the bad treatment of black people),  as one reason, why they \'like Obama\'. If you put yourselves in his shoes for one moment, then that may not give such a good feeling to a \'black\' President. Indeed, his coulour should not even be an issue in itself. \nBut there are most probably people, who thought this out beforehand: \'there are people with \'white guilt\'; after \'Bush\', the white guilt feeling may even play up more, so may the need for  change. Maybe ,Obama, will \'make a change\', \n\nWhat I want to say is, that people\'s psychology is being studied and the knowledge can be applied for political means.  Even your article may \'studied. Experts might find a \'hesitant attitude in your article and draw conlusions from this.  It is what is \'wanted\';  hesitant, questioning, Jews, who do not analize too fast and too clearly, though.\n\nYou write about Obama being naive having a lack of knowledge of the Muslem world. He and the people behind him may want people like you to think that he is naive and that he has a lack of knowledge of the Muslim world. That may only be part of his \'role\'; an American tradionally does not know that much about the Muslim world.  Meanwhile Obama plays exactly into the psychology of the Muslim world, only he does this in such a way that Westerners harly notice how he does that. \n\nThen, some people\'s psychology may go something along these lines;   \'Obama promises you a prosperous future. If he, with his background, can become President,  you who may have had more opportunities than \'he has had\', or your childen, can grow into being a President too , why couldn\'t you\'.  Thus from a psychological point of view, Obama may also stand for what many \'white\' people may want to be.  He is their black role model for what they would want to be able to achieve although they might not ever run for President. \'Thus\', Obama can become a black \'role-model\' to white people, whether they struggle to make ends meet, or are more well to do. I am not a psychologist, but it looks to me as if it works that way.  \n\nI did not even think of this before, but now you \'mention it\', Mr Freund, you must be able to make some analyses along these lines too, and maybe with better analyses which are very necessary.  So long as you and not only you, will become faster to \'apprehend\', how people can be manipulated, whilst no-one notices.  It has nothing to do with \'naivety\', but more with cleverness, which hopes that you shall stay naive!\nto look as if he is naive, can also be  a tactic to keep Jews hesitant, more \'forgiving\'.\n\nRember, Esav uses the \'now\'. He is an opportunist. He does not believe in long-suffering for Truth, but takes advantage of the situation. Pharaoh was nice to Moshe Rabbeynu, until he \'chose\' between a slave who was beaten by an Egyptian, and an Egyptian.  I don\'t say that Americans are Esav or Egyptians, but some dominant elements in the American society may well have to do with them.\n \nIt seems as if Obama looks fragile in his pyjamas (\'rhymes\'), but I do not believe him;  he is identifying with other Americans in part because he really does so, and in part because it belongs to his \'role\'.  Americans have to feel \'at home\' with Obama. Thus, he can also wear his (what I call) \'pyjama\'s-attitude\'. \n Am I puttting him in a wrong spotlight, just because he is \'black\'?  No, I would not mind a black President in the United States at all. But I feel that Obama is \'playing different roles\'  well but then again in a clumsy way, as a  t a c t ic (a relative of somone who helped liberate Europe, a friend of Muslims, someone who keeps a \'Seider\' in the White House, and is uaware of the fact that he does not keep a kosher Seider, maybe he was being a little \'naive\', but the gesture was meant to arouse sympaty) and he does this in such a way that hardly anyone seems to notice. He sometimes \'plays himself\', but then switches to \'Mr naive\', yet concerned and sincere, altogether \n\nEvery person has been given a conscience, but, Americans who have their unique kind of conscience are being taken advantage of.  What that is concerned other Presidents have taken advantage of the good potential of Americans, but I try to analyze something about Mr Obama\'s overall behavior and try to see how he might try to fool Israeli\'s and the Israeli Governement. \n\nMany post-Christian Americans believe \'in themselves\' and want a world in which different people can live together in a more respectable way.  Obama \'believes in himself\', it is what many American identify with. He does not look too self-assured altogether, which matches with the feelings of Americans. Do we get the picture?  Is Obama playing a role besides being himself, and is he that smart of intuitive, or, has he been prepared and instructed, to do so? \n\nThere are basic things which many Americans want from a President, and after the failing economy he could, so they feel, bring a change. \n\nObama believes in himself, although I do see gaps of insecurity. This is part of his natural psychological expression. But he also plays that role (self-assured but carful, yet this in an overall consistent attitude) on purpose. It \'comes in handy\', makes him trusted and popular, people can identify with it.  They will not suspect it if Obama would show a less \'sympathetic\' side (Maybe without really having that much self-knowledge whereas he thinks that he knows himself)\n\nI see anger inside of Obama. He may have many good qualities (this is not the talk which many people may hold), but every time when I see him, it looks as if he hides much anger\n\nI have met people who looked very concerned with the weak in society. On a superficial level, they are right what they think and their behavior can be inspiring. It appeared as if they had \'something about them\'. Yet don\'t meet them \'alone\' and suddenly discover \'another side\'. They keep caring about those whom they cared about before, these are \'their siblings\', at least that is what they think. The \'syblings\' can give them status also. They have a need to be fed by this \'status\'. This stays that way, but for some, when pressure gets high they forget the \'syblings\' and \'have something urgent to do\' (\'fix the world\').  They are \'emotionally fed\', when weak and naive people \'buy into them\'. The \'plan\' looks simple to do and it even works. In their case no one with a little more than average talent was \'around\', but it also should not be too much more than average. To some, walking through life this way already has  has become a \'way of life\'; be sociable, outgoing, charismatic, self-assured, but do not look too intelligent alltogether, people will buy into it.  This does not mean, that a semi-purpose life-style combined with one\'s natural character traits, cannot be used on purpose to the extent that no one finds out the true identity of a person, who can look uninformed, naive.\n\nTruth is relative to many people. They let people who want to sincerly analyze things, talk.  The more \'sheepish\'  the people who \'try to understand look\', the better. As long as they are hesitant, and don\'t start to manifest a real clarity about the situation, a resolve. Don\'t we live in a civilized world? It is a world in which two people can wear a suit.  One can be a dangerous person who takes advantage of the fact that the righteous person will ask his questions in a slow, and civilized way. \nJust because of the \'suit\'. for many it can be difficult to call someone an anti-Semite.  \n\n Israeli politicians need a lot of discernment, a clear message and a clear resolve. Their very behavior when visiting the White House may be \'studied\', for political purposes. The more willing they are to give in, the more hesitation they show, the more the impression will be that it \'pays\' to continue to pressure Israel. \nThe one thing which does help is prayer. It helps clarify matters and it makes unexpected things happen. And not everyone can \'pray in order to have his way\'; HaShem will answer a prayer on behalf of the Tzaddikim and on behalf of His Will and Promises\n\nIt can be obvious  that Obama has some kind of \'multi-cultural code\', but I have the impression that not much is known about his real personal \'value-system\'.  It seems as if not much is really clear about that.  This should make one think.  Is Obama hiding behind his multi-cultural background, so that he does not have to make any really clear statement about his underlying \'set of beliefs\'? And has he been picked and trained to do this? \n\nNo other non-Jewish people than Americans seem to have a sense of indignation, when they are confronted with injustice done to others. \nAmericans also have the need to identify with vicitms of \'injustice\' through stories of the victims. The American public could only understand something about the  indiscribable horrors of the Shoah after they read the book of Anne Frank. \n\nAmericans can identify with Israel, if they are better informed. They will protest against the policies of the Government of the USA concerning Israel. It is not that the US has no good people, either religious or secular. \n\nThe \'silent, sliding and easy\' way in which Obama (seems to want to make it look as if he) operates, looks to me as if he is some \'diplomat\' who operates behind the scenes. On the other hand, at least where I live, one could also get that impression about President Bush.  Obama  is \'present\' at \'strategic moments\' when it comes to public opinion. This may already have set in when Bush was President. \n\nI see a tendency by media and politicians to want to be \'politically correct\' about the Shoah (the Holocaust), although some do mean it when they say \'this must never happen again\' and that the Shoah has to be commemorated.  \'But\' they close their eyes to the existential threat which Israel is facing. They do not want the larger public to know that Israel is facing an existential threat. I can think of some reasons; some media can be threatened themselves by Muslems, but then again they may act as if or suggest that this were so; they don\'t care;  they have  an anti-Israel agenda.  \n\nMaybe some politicians in the Diaspora are \'preparing the general public\' also, so that the public would believe that the Diaspora would be a \'safe haven\' for Jews \'if Israel would have to be dismantled\'.  \nThe negative political attitude towards Israel is anti-Semitism. It brings Jews in danger, if more land had to be \'given away\'  These politicians don\'t care if they are anti-Semites. They only care about \'what is called anti-Semitism\', in other words, about \'what public opinion in their countries is.  If the media would broadcast, that if Israel has to give away more land, this is anti-Semitism, then the public opinion would likely turn against these politicians who want to be elected.  The larger public does know what anti-Semitism is, and what it has lead to.   Many European politicians play a double-role\'; \'protectors of Jewry in the Diaspora\' and so-called \'participators in establishing peace in the Middle-east\',.  It has always been the larger public which has either been uninformed, misinformed preoccupied with its own worries or put to sleep.  This \'game\' is being played again. \n\nBut they forget one \'factor\', the G-d of Israel. It is in no way a slogan. If one would want to convince people who only believe in themselves, that the world can change, then they would have to admit, that demographic situations can drastically change. One major cause of change can be war, which everyone hopes to be able to avoid. One people can turn against another. \nEven if the world would be one \'multi-cultural unity\', in which distinctions between peoples would be blurred, it is still in the nature of people to want to have what does not belong to them. Thus they can attack other countries, even because of the slightest difference. Small  differences in culture, ethnicitality, religion , in prosperity, do not guarantee, that people will not fight each other.  One \'leader\' of the world does not guarantee that either.\n\n I know that Israel is \'far away \' for many Europeans, although they know \'how\' Israel was established. The quiet diplomat-like way in which Obama often seems to move around, remind me of the attitude of some media when it comes to \'Israel and the Middle-East\'\n\nThen the type of \'caretaker of syblings\' has another side, which expresses itself in lying cheating manipulating. But hardly anyone will know about it. The combination of knowledge of people\'s psychology, the \'right way\' of speaking about \'necessary policies\', and charisma, makes that people enjoy to be near them and believe what they say. \nMaybe some \'new age agenda\' is behind . I think that he only makes believe that he does not understand the psychology of Muslims. Meanwhile the knowledge comes in handy.  Muslims feel discriminated because of race, social (\'financial\') status, and maybe they feel that the good parts of their culture is not appreciated. Visit a richer and a poor family in a Muslim country, you will be treated as as guest. The last food they have they will put on the table. Hospitality is an important part of Muslim culture.  \nIn Germany Obama states that one of his relatives came to liberate Germany. He would never say \'I am a Berliner\'. That the American President could say, because their was no guilt towards Israel.  The American Government may be advised by all sorts of people, also psychologists. \nTo indentify with other countries may be one of America\'s \'mandates\', but the \'protocol\' can be abused\' Watch out for the \'semi-clear unclear\' and \'never knowing if someone is just being naive\'\nIt can be that \'Obama\' feels that the Muslem world will become more \'sociable\' when it is overall better to do economically. \'Just as Germany\'.  \nIf I close my eyelids, (almost), and look at the \'atmosphere around Obama\' when I see him, I see a lot of anger and a \'resolve\'. I am not sure what the anger and the resolve consist of, yet it seems obvious to me that he has suffered from discrimination. He may not see that in spite of America\'s failures, it is one of the best countries that there is. America has mainly been a \'giver\'. A safe haven for Jews. We must not take this for granted. The problem is that if other Nations are given the responsability which America has, and the means, it will not \'work\'. Obama also seem to try to unite Arabic countries. This can psychologically be facilitated by saying \'good things\' to \'which-ever\' Arabic country he goes to. He might think that there is then still the \'opportunity\' to put things right for Israel. Or rather, not \'he\' is likely to think that. He is playing on what the general public in the USA thinks. In other words he \'identifies\' with the overall psychology of Americans, who \'by the way\' are busy trying to pay their bills. (\'Coincidence\'?)\nI heard someone say that the \'financial crisis\'  has aritfficially been caused. That banks have enough money.  If some banks have an excuse to become \'state-property\', then the interest which people pay goes to the state. I have no knowledg of economy, but I heard something along these lines.  The so called \'American psychology\' must also elaborately have been studied in order to be able to \'play into it\'. And what about the so-called \'Israeli psychology\'?  Are we really dealing with naive people? Or are we a little naive? \'How far can we go\' not only \'practised\', but at the same time \'studied\'\nMr Freund, the opinions of  well-thinking people as you are, may be studied. You are asking some polite questions, since you are polite. Baruch HaShem. What was Obama thinking then?  That’s what we can expect now.\n\nObama had 57 Islamic nations in mind with 1 more he has yet to “create” out of thin air!\n\n“Beacon of tradition and progress” – Those are the words Obama wants the world to say about his arrogant self.  He did the same in his speeches during his presidential campaign, saying that he may look different from those on the dollar notes.  What do you think he was subliminally suggesting then? His face will be on the next worthless dollar bills???\n\nIt is so evident that Obama is manipulating people like the great Houdini, and people are falling flat for his “charm” offensive.  \'The guy is a charlatan,\' as rightly stated by a guest on one of the TV channels on the morning of Nov.4, 08.\n\nNow Obama expects a reciprocal response from Sheikh Tantawi to eulogize him the same way Tantawi did for Arafat.");

We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition”. The idea that Al-Andalus was a place of peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians is one of the more ridiculous lies that you can imagine. Muslims didn’t come to Spain for holidays. The invasion of the Iberian Peninsula was not an isolated event but was a link in the Muslim expansion characterized by razing towns and sell to the inhabitants as slaves. All this was done following the prominent religious precept of the Koran which states: “Fight against those who believe not in All?h, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by All?h and His Messenger and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the people of the Scripture, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” (altawba 9: 29). The treatment of non-Muslims in certain periods of the Caliphate was far from being respectful. Only between the years 929 and 1031 it is possible to speak of peaceful coexistence, but the Inquisition was established in the town of Cordoba in the year 1482, i.e. more than four centuries after the supposed idyllic era referred by Barak Hussein Obama.\n\nJavier Alvarez.\nPh.D. Philosophy \nSpain.\n");
