Let\'s simply cut ourselves off from Egypt and not use their gas, once the Haifa gas is up & running. \n\nI don\'t know why we bother with the Egyptians to begin with. Just because of a peace agreement worthy of being written on toilet paper, we are hostage to their moods? We weren\'t even supposed to see Egypt again, much less depend on them for anything.\n\nWe need to find more of our own resources, and use them, with haShem\'s help. It\'s unforgiveable that we developed oil wells while the Sinai was ours, and the world did not demand that we \"give back\" the Sinai to Egypt until we had increased the value of that land many times. This is yet another stealing of Jewish labor, as though we were still slaves of the Egyptians! They then compound it by not giving us all the gas they promise, till this very day.\n\nPerhaps haShem will cause us to be able to \"go out of Egypt with much wealth\" -- as in days of old? I don\'t know if I want us to wait that long.
