One way, is to portray it as a more vulnerable community. Think of the many many stories about the shootings at the Amish school a couple of years ago. Constantly referring to them as Amish made the crime all the more heinous because they were religious and were a peace-loving people.\n\nOf course the murder of school children is heinous but somehow knowing that they were from a religious community made the crimes particularly heinous. Same, too, as the March 2008 murder of the Yeshiva students in Mercaz.\n\nHeinous beyond belief, but as with the Amish children, occurring in a religious community in a religious school made it all the more heinous and vile.\n\nOn the other hand, crimes against innocent people are heinous regardless of whether they\'re secular or religious.\n\nI would object to the description of \"west bank\" since to most readers in the US it doesn\'t give a clue as to whether it\'s predominately an Arab or Jewish community.\n\nBad journalism all the way around in this brief story.");

Perhaps, they fear \'fire & brimstone\', because there are righteous Jews among them in Hevron.  \n\nIt\'s just as it was in the days of Lot!");
