I am very concerned, regarding the humanitarian crisis that is occurring and increasing in Gaza daily, since the air strikes began 10 days ago, and now Israel have commenced ground incursions since the weekend, which have inevitably led to many more innocent deaths of civilians. The situation has become increasingly unbearable for the  1.5 million Gazans, trapped in their open prisons, also living under a blockade, which has contributed to their plight further,  please take heed of a UN representative, Richard Falk, who says that “ The magnitude, the deliberateness, the violations of international  humanitarian law, warrant the characterization of a crime against humanity”   \n\n\nI am a member of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, this organisation campaigns for justice for the Palestinains, we also advocate for a Palestinian’s civil, political and human rights, in accordance with international law. Since my involvement with PSC,  I do try to maintain a regular interest in the situation in Palestine. There has been and still remains a blockade, with the Palestinians living under siege, unable to have access or limited access to the basic necessities, and now with the current military action in Gaza, which has intensified over the weekend, the people are facing a greater need for urgent supplies of food, water and medicine, again I urge you to bring these important issues to the forefront with the Prime Minister and to bring an end to the terrible suffering of the Gazans.    \n\n\nI ask that there is an immediate ceasefire, for Israel to end their deadly air strikes, retreat from the ground invasion, to lift the strangulating blockade and allow the people of Palestine, access to food, medication, fuel etc. and for Israel to respect and not violate international law and to end the occupation in Palestine. \n\n");
